i. Grade II Teachers Certificate, 3 of which must be at Credit level in the relevant subject areas
ii. 5 passes at the Ordinary Level GCE/SSCE/NECO including English Language, 3 of which must be at credit

iii. For Primary Education Studies combination: Teachers Grade II Certificate with passes in all subjects and a
minimum of 5 years teaching experience
iv. For Business Education, candidates must possess any of the following qualifications:

(a) 5 passes at the Ordinary level GCE/WASC/SSCE/NECO/NABTEB including English Language with at least 3 credits at a sitting or 4 credit at 2 sitting in the following subjects: Economics, Principles of “Accounts, shorthand,Business Education, Introduction to business Management, Typewriting, commerce or any other
relevant subject. A pass in mathematics is a compulsory requirement;
(b) Grade II Teachers’ Certificate with credit or merit passes with at least a pass in mathematics and credit in English Language or

NYSC 2017 Batch "B" Stream II Orientation Course Schedule Out

This is to inform the general public especial ly Prospective Corps Memebers that the National Youth Service Corps, NYSC 2017 Batch "B" Stream II Orientation Course Schedule is now available Nationwide.

The Management of the Scheme has scheduled the 2017  Batch ‘B’ Stream II Orientation course to commence from
16th January and ends on 5th February 2018 Nationwide.

All PCMs are to proceed to their Orientation camps at the camp addresses indicated in their call-up letters.

The NYSC 2017 Batch ‘B’ Stream II Orientation Course is scheduled to hold in Fifteen (15) NYSC Orientation Camps only, namely;Abia, Bauchi, Benue, Delta, Enugu, Sokoto, Jigawa, Kaduna, Katsina, Plateau,
Lagos, Osun, Oyo, Rivers and the FCT.

The Orientation Course is to
commence as follows;
(a) Commencement and Registration: Tuesday 16th January,2018
(b) Cut-off date for Registration: Midnight Wednesday,17th January, 2018
(c) Swearing-In Ceremony: Thursday, 18th January, 2018
(d) Closing: Monday, 5th February, 2018

2. All prospective corps members for the 2017 Batch ‘B’ Stream II Orientation Course are advised to proceed to their respective
Camps as stated on their Call-up letters.

Foreign-trained graduates are to report to the Camp with their travelling Passport for
Identification as well as their Certificate/Transcript for verification.

3. In the event of any loss of Call-up Letter, the Corps member who collected the Call-up letter from his/her Institution is advised
to obtain Police Report and Sworn Court Affidavit and thereafter,report to the Institution of graduation for further necessary action.

Those who initially printed their Call-up Letters on-line can re-print the Call-up Letters as many times as they want in the case of loss.

4. Prospective Corps Members are to note that their states of deployment may differ from their orientation camp venue,hence; they must take careful note of their respective orientation camp venue before proceeding to camp.

REQUIREMENT FOR REGISTRATION:
(a) Original Call-up Letter or Call-up Letter printed on-line
(b) Statement of Result endorsed by authorized officer with authentic signature.
(c) School Identity Card, including travelling Passport for Foreign-trained graduates.
(d) Medical Doctors, Pharmacists, Physiotherapists and Optometrists are to produce evidence of Registration with their Professional Bodies.
(e) Prospective Corps members should go to Camp with Functional Account Number and Bank Verification Number (BVN) to facilitate online payment of entitlements.
(f) In addition, each prospective corps member MUST present Certificate of Fitness from a Government or Military Hospital
showing his/her health status before he/she will be registered and admitted for the orientation course.

UNIJOS 2017/2018 IJMB Final Registration Procedure For Newly Admitted Students

This is inform the general public that the University of Jos Centre for Continuing
Education hereby informs all Students
admitted into the IJMB Programme for the
2017/2018 Session, that the deadline for final registration is Thursday 11 January, 2018.

All affected Students are advised to obtain
their Clearance Form from the IJMB
Coordinator and then proceed to pay the sum of Nine Thousand Naira only (N9000) being cost of the IJMB final registration.

They are also required to submit Four (4) Passport size photographs alongside the completed Examination Registration Forms which they will be given.

Students are to note that 3 January, 2018 to
10 February, 2018 would be the Revision
period before the commencement of the final Examinations.

While they are advised to strictly adhere to the Registration procedures,the Students should further note that failure to meet the 11 January, 2018 final Registration deadline, would mean forfeiture of their admission.

Candidates who made Yaba College of Technology their First Choice with a minimum score of 160 in the UTME and whose Post UTME Screening result is
not less than 40% are eligible to apply.

All ND Candidates who are interested in B.Sc Degree programmes must have scored a minimum of 200 in the UTME and must have chosen Yaba College of Technology as their first Choice Institution.

Candidates who applied for National Diploma in Mechanical Engineering are eligible to apply for National Diploma Welding and Fabrication Engineering.

year of their senior secondary education and it is called SSCE Internal while the Second is SSCE External and is for
candidates not in the School system, i.e. Private Candidates.

The SSCE internal has seventy-six subjects which are grouped into the following six categories.
1. Compulsory Cross-Cutting Subjects
2. Science and Mathematics
3. Technology
4. Humanities
5. Business Studies and
6. Trade/Entrepreneurship.

GUIDELINES FOR THE 2018 SSCE REGISTRATION
A. ELIGIBILITY FOR REGISTRATION
Principals/Commandants of Schools are hereby informed that only candidates in their final year of the Senior Secondary School (i.e. SS3) are eligible for registration.

For the avoidance of doubt, the June/July 2018 SSCE is meant for only school based candidates in Nigeria and overseas. It is not meant for private candidates.

Principals/Commandants of Schools and Ministries of Education should endeavor to enforce the eligibility condition.

B. REGISTRATION PROCEDURES
The registration comprises of two stages:
- Offline Registration
- Offline and Online Registration.

Schools are expected to follow the guideline/instructions explaining the various steps on how to go about the two
stages of Registration Procedures using the Compact Disc (CD-Rom).

1. COMPACT DISC (CD-ROM)
School Principals/Commandants are to collect CD-Rom from NECO Offices in their respective States as from Monday 16th January, 2018.

2. REGISTRATION FEE
Registration fee for 2018 June/July SSCE is N11, 350.00 (Eleven Thousand Three Hundred and Fifty Naira) only per
candidate.

3. COMPLETION OF ENTRY SCHEDULE AND PURCHASE OF ONLINE SCRATCH CARDS.
(a) Entry Schedule will no longer be filled manually. The print-out from the Offline Registration will serve as Entry Schedule and submitted at point of purchase of online Pin Number/Scratch Cards.
(b) Online Pin Number/Scratch Cards are to be purchased at respective NECO State Offices.
(c) Schools shall submit to the NECO State Office the following:
i. Evidence of payment made into NECO Treasury Single Account (TSA) from any of the Commercial Banks for the total number of candidates presented.
ii. The printed Entry Schedule dully endorsed by the State Ministries of Education.

(d) Items i, and ii above should be submitted latest by 15th March, 2018 to be able to collect online e-Registration cards.
(e) Offline to Online Registration. Schools shall thereafter use the Offline Registration data and the Scratch Card/Pin Number acquired to login into NECO e-Registration
website using the facilities of any reputable cyber-café to obtain Registration data of their candidates. The website is http://www.mynecoexams.com/
(f) All schools (Except Federal Government Institutions) must have their printed Entry Schedules endorsed by the relevant Department of the State Ministries of Education.
Private schools are not exempted from this condition.

(g) Schools are to print-out Subject Summary/Analysis after completion of Registration and submit a copy along
with other documents to the State Office.
(h) Schools should endeavor to monitor their registration process properly to minimize errors.

4. MINIMUM NUMBER OF CANDIDATES
The minimum number of candidates to be registered by a school is 20 (Twenty). Any school registering less than twenty candidates shall pay a surcharge of N40, 000.00 (Forty Thousand Naira) Only.

5. PHOTO ALBUMS
Schools shall download their Photo Albums online.

6. RETURN OF COMPLETED REGISTRATION DOCUMENTS
School Principals/Commandants shall return a copy of the downloaded online data of registered candidates to NECO
Office in their respective States as this will serve the purpose of Validation List. Schools should therefore make sure that they effect all corrections before submitting
candidates’ data online.

The printed validation list must be
endorsed by the School Principal and Examination Officer.

7. REGISTRATION PERIOD AND DEADLINE
(a) The registration period starts from Monday 16th january, 2018 to Wednesday 18th April, 2018.
(b) The website will be closed on Wednesday 18th April,2018 at 12.00 midnight. Late registration will not be
entertained.
(c) The last date for the return of downloaded data of the registered candidates by schools to respective NECO
State Offices is Monday 3rd May, 2018.

8. Schools should input the 1st and 2nd year Continuous Assessment (CA)
During the offline registration and later upload the 3rd year CA using the back-up template saved during the offline registration. (Uploading the 3rd year CA should be from 4th April to 16th May 2018, Please note that 3rd year CA will no longer be filled manually).

9. PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING DATES AGAIN
(a) Collection of Compact Disc (CD Rom) by schools as from Monday 16th January, 2018.
(b) Last date for online registration by schools Wednesday 18th April, 2018.
(c) Last date for submission of downloaded copies of online registration data by schools to State Offices,Monday 3rd May, 2018.
(d) Last date for submission of downloaded copies of online 3rd year Continuous Assessment of candidates by Schools to State Offices 23rd May, 2018.

STEPS TO APPLY
The minimum number of subjects a candidate can sit for is eight while the maximum is nine.

All Senior Secondary schools in the Federation present Candidates for the SSCE Internal.
